Inn at meander plantation1/26/2024 We stayed in the Robinson Room (Robinsons in the Robinson Room) and only Alaska was sharp enough to comment on that at breakfast the second morning. Sadly, neither of these topics were acknowledged by Lindi at anytime during our visit. Secondly we were scouting the area for lodging for October 2021 as our niece is getting married in nearby Culpeper, Virginia. First we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary the second night we were there. made the reservation online I mentioned two items that I thought were of interest. ![]() Secondly I have reached out to the Inn at Meander Plantationįive times n various social media and email platforms without the courtesy of a response.When I. I always sent a review after visiting a property long before TripAdvisor. Again, not a lot of bells and whistles, but we all thought it was charming with very good food. A stop on a whim many times does not work out. The chef came out and talked to them and kept offering to bring them "extras". My other son and my husband were still at the tournament so I suggested they also stop in on their way home. Better yet, my grumpy, tournament-tired, son, who was "not hungry" ordered a burger which he said was one of the best he ever had. It was not fancy, and we were not looking for fancy. It was a lovely open patio with a great view of the greenery and mountains in the distance. She explained that they were indeed open and would we like to sit inside or out. 30 seconds later a lovely person came and greeted us. ![]() There was no one manning the entrance, but there was a sign that said "call the innkeeper at this number" so we did. We had no idea if there was anyone there or not, but went into the front door. ![]() We drove down the long driveway, and parked in the little lot near the big main house. and Tavern on our way home and it said it was open to the public. We just happened to see the somewhat nondescript sign for the Meander Inn. He just wanted to get home, and said he wasn't hungry, but I said let's just grab lunch. My son and I had a long lacrosse tourney at nearby Woodberry Forest School.
